We plan to take our second tour of  Cuba after the first one was so successful in 2004. Below we have highlighted some details:-

 Day 1 - Welcome at Jose Marti Airport where we will be transferred to Old Havana

Day 2 –  After breakfast we will depart for a detailed guided sightseeing tour of Havana.  A visits will also be made to the Museum of the Revolution before continuing to the impressive Revolution Square overlooked by the mural of Ernesto “Che” Guevara. The tour will end with a drive along the “Malecon”, Havana’s seafront promenade. 

Day 3 – Today we will continue to the Havana Club Rum factory, where the group will view the workings of the Rum factory and may have the opportunity to sample the different rums.  Followed by a visit to Finca Vigia the former Cuban home of Ernest Hemingway.

Day 4 –  Before leaving Havana we will visit the Partagas cigar factory, where you will observe first hand how cigars are made.  There may even be the opportunity to try rolling a cigar yourself! The day will continue with a visit to Canimao in Matanzas, where we will take a river trip and lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Trinidad. 

Day 5 – After breakfast, we will head into Trinidad, a UNESCO heritage site and one of the best preserved colonial cities in the world.

 Day 6 – This morning, we will enjoy a tour of Cienfuegos, after which we will leave for the city of Santa Clara, the final resting place of “Che” Guevara.  We will visit the museum dedicated to his life and the Mausoleum. 

Day 7 – Today we will depart for the famous Vinales Valley stopping en route at Pinar Del Rio City, continuing to Vinales Valley where we will drive through the valley, with stops for absorbing the beauty of the area.  There will be a subterranean boat ride through the El Indio limestone cave system followed by lunch in the Ranchon San Vicente countryside restaurant. 

Day 8 – After breakfast, a visit will be made to the local community of Las Terrazas, followed by a swim in the San Juan River.  After lunch we will transfer to Varadero for  three nights of pure relaxation on one of the best beaches in the world.

Day 9 – 12 Sol Palmeras – All – inclusive At Leisure
