Please be aware!

From 1st December 08, Caribbean Airlines have changed their baggage allowance.

This news has been sprung on us mid-flow, we were not consulted nor informed of the change. We have made our feeling known to the Caribbean Airlines management but to date have not had a response. It seems that airlines choose the worst time to implement changes as these changes are going to cause a huge disruption to passenger’s plans.

The new allowance when traveling "intra Caribbean" or “ Inter-Line” is 1 piece at 23 Kg.

The interpretation comes from Caribbean Airlines own website, for “Inter-Line” baggage I.E. baggage connecting to and from other carriers.

This will affect all the passengers traveling from London to Guyana and any other destination involving a connection.

“Naturally”, Caribbean Airline are prepared to let you travel with an extra piece of luggage, but they will collect USD100 for the pleasure!
