As many of you are aware there have been, and continues to be, changes with Caribbean Airlines.
There have been further changes to your flight in respect of the code share agreement Caribbean Airlines have made with British Airways.
Please note any and all Caribbean Airlines code share flight will be operated by British Airways to and from Gatwick North Terminal. The Baggage allowance will be that of British Airways, which from the 13th of February 2007 is 2 suitcases at 23 Kg per piece and 1 piece of hand luggage at a maximum weight of 6Kg.
From the 25th of March the following changes take effect:
Direct flights to and from Port of Spain will operate Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only.
On all other days there will be a direct flight to and from Barbados with an onward shuttle service to Port of Spain. Unfortunately this will mean that those travelling Monday, Tuesday, Friday or Sunday will be making 1 connection on flights to Port of Spain and 2 connections for flights going onto Tobago, Georgetown, Grenada or any other destination involving a connection in Port of Spain.
We are fully aware of your concerns with transit times and baggage, but we are assured that both British Airways and Caribbean Airlines are working fervently to ensure that all systems are in place to make your flight as smooth as possible and we appreciate your understanding at this time of transition.
We are on hand to answer any questions or queries you might have.
We do appreciate your understanding that these matters are not of our making and are out of our hands, having said that we will do all we can to assist where we can.
